Why Choose a Mobile Notary Instead of a UPS Store or Bank?

Crystal Lake is home to over 41,000 residents, and squeezing a notary run into a workday — driving to a UPS Store or bank branch, waiting for the next available notary, then driving back — can eat up far more time than the signing itself. A mobile notary flips that: we come to your living room, your workplace, a hospital or rehab facility, or anywhere else that's easier for you. You get the same careful attention to detail a title company or attorney's office would provide, minus the round trip.

Serving Crystal Lake and zip codes 60012 and 60014 — plus surrounding communities including Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, Cary, and McHenry. Not seeing your area listed? Give us a call — we cover most of McHenry County.

How it Works

Call, text, or book online with your location and type of document you need notarized.

Jason or Kim will contact you to confirm the details and the price, based on your needs.

We arrive at the appointed time with everything needed to notarize your document.

What Happens During Your Appointment?

Here’s what to expect: First, we will verify your identity using a valid, government-issued ID. You must have your driver’s license, state ID or passport available. After confirming your identity, we’ll ensure you understand what you are signing and that the document is complete. The final step on your end is to sign the document in our presence (please don’t sign before you are in front of a notary).

After you complete your signatures, we will notarize the document by completing the notarial certificate and applying our notary seal. We will also log the entry into our notary journal, as this is required by Illinois law.

We make the notarization process as simple and seamless as possible, as we understand the urgency of critical documents. Most appointments take between 10 – 25 minutes, depending on the number of documents and signers present.

Who Uses a Mobile Notary in Crystal Lake?

Not every notarization fits neatly into a 9-to-5 office visit — and here in Crystal Lake, we regularly meet clients wherever their situation calls for it:

  • Families arranging power of attorney or guardianship paperwork for an aging parent
  • Residents at local rehab, skilled nursing facilities, or hospitals who aren't able to travel
  • Homebuyers and sellers finalizing closing or loan documents
  • Small business owners handling contracts, filings, or partnership agreements
  • Anyone completing a will, trust, or other estate planning document
